WPIX Names Jack Moore Local Sales Manager

Tribune Broadcasting’s CW affiliate WPIX New York (DMA 1), has named Jack Moore local sales manager. Moore moves up from account executive, a position he has held at the station since 2007.

Moore’s promotion is effective immediately and he will continue to report to Adam Shapiro, general sales manager. In his new role as LSM, he will be responsible for overseeing sales activity in the market and the sales performance of the local account executives.

Prior to joining WPIX, Moore was an account executive for Fox O&O WNYW New York from 2002 to 2007.  He also worked as a sales manager at Millennium in Chicago in 2000-02. Moore has worked in broadcast advertising sales for 15 years, and began his media career at Seltel in Los Angeles.

Moore holds a BA in political science from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles.
