WPMT Ups Maryellen Pann To Chief Meteorologist
MaryEllen Pann is now chief meteorologist of Tribune Broadcasting’s Fox affiliate WPMT Harrisburg-Lancaster-Lebanon-York, Pa. (DMA 43), a promotion received after 13 years of forecasting the weather for WPMT.
Pann can be seen every weeknight during Fox43 News at 6, Fox43 News at 6:30, Fox43 News at 10 and Fox43 News at 11.
Pann started out with WPMT in 1999 as the station’s weekend weathercaster.
Pann received her certificate in meteorology from Mississippi State University. She is a member of the National Weather Association and an associate member of the American Meteorological Society.
