DMA 111: FORT WAYNE, IN
WPTA Names Matt Leach Chief Meteorologist
Quincy Media-owned ABC affiliate WPTA Fort Wayne, Ind. (DMA 111), has promoted Matt Leach to chief meteorologist effective Sept. 19.
Leach originally came to WPTA as its weekend meteorologist.
Previously he worked writing forecasts for the Kitsap Peninsula of Washington State for one of the region’s largest newspapers. He also worked at KOMO and Microsoft in Seattle.
Leach attended Brigham Young University and is a member of the National Weather Association.
