WRC Washington To Stream Newscasts Online

NBC-owned WRC Washington (DMA 8) will begin streaming all weekday newscasts on beginning Monday, July 1.

“We are excited to bring News4’s No. 1-rated newscasts to our growing digital audience,” said Wendy Warren, WRC editorial manager for digital. “This streaming experience will complement NBCWashington’s growing suite of mobile apps, social presence, and web content.”

Viewers will be able to watch more than seven hours of newscasts daily, including:

  • News4 Today from 4:26 to 7 a.m.
  • News4 Midday from 11 a.m. until noon.
  • Three straight hours of late afternoon/early evening news (News4 at 4 p.m., News4 at 5 p.m., News4 at 6 p.m.).
  • News4 at 11 p.m. 

All newscasts will include closed-captioning.

    Yes, really! LOL Maybe there are too many female News Directors. Males are more-aggressive and marketing-minded than girls.
