The debtors of bankrupt WSAH, the former Multicultural Television Broadcasting station licensed to Bridgeport, Conn., on the northern fringe of the New York market, announced today that they are auctioning it off.
To participate in the bidding, parties must submit their financial qualifications by Oct. 28 and a “qualified bid” by Nov. 7. Then, they must show up in Wilmington, Del., on Nov. 15 for the actual auction.

Independent WSAH is the last of five stations that Arthur Liu’s Multicultural Television Broadcasting bought from Scripps five years ago for $170 million only to run into financial troubles with them.
In hopes of recovering some of their money, debtors have forced the sale of all the stations. Two of the stations — WRAY Raleigh-Durham, N.C., and WOAC Cleveland — were sold to Radiant Life Ministries.
