WSFX Wilmington Expands 10 P.M. News

The Wilmington, N.C., Fox affiliate’s evening newscast grows to an hour beginning Jan. 15.

Fox affiliate WSFX Wilmington, N.C. (DMA 131), is expanding its Fox Wilmington News at Ten broadcast from thirty-five minutes to a full hour beginning Jan. 15.

“The opportunity and the evolution of what viewers expect is clear,” said Charlotte Cohen, WSFX VP and general manager. “We are very pleased that once again, Fox Wilmington is moving forward with progressive changes to better serve our viewers and advertisers. The hour-long format is going to give us the time to go more in depth with some of the key issues affecting our community. It’s the right time for this expansion.”

Fox Wilmington’s News at Ten is co-anchored by Jon Evans and Ashlea Kosikowski plus chief meteorologist Gannon Medwick.
