WSNS CHICAGO ADDS MID-MORNING NEWSAST
Starting Monday, April 21, Spanish-language television viewers in Chicago will have a new place to turn for headlines of the day and information on issues relevant to them and their families: Telemundo affiliate WSNS will debut Noticiero Telemundo Chicago Por La Mañana, at 10:30 a.m..
The half-hour broadcast will air Monday through Friday and will be anchored by Tsi-tsi-ki Felix.
“This is a fresh option for daytime viewers looking for local news and information about health, personal finances, and family issues,” said Esteban Creste, the station’s news director.
This mid-morning show is primarily focused at reaching Latino women with a range of information, from news of the day and helpful information to the latest updates on the novellas airing in Telemundo primetime.
“The 10:30 a.m. show is a fresh alternative for our viewers,” said Ed Fernandez, WSNS vice president-general manager. “With this new show, we are now offering more local Spanish-language news programming than anyone in Chicago.”
