WTAE’S Sally Wiggin Inducted Into Hall Of Fame

Anchor Sally Wiggin of Hearst-owned ABC affiliate WTAE Pittsburgh (DMA 22) has been inducted into the Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters Hall of Fame in honor of her positive impact on audiences and the industry.

“Sally Wiggin is an incredible storyteller and champion of Pittsburgh. We are proud of her accomplishments and commitment to our viewers for more than 30 years,” said WTAE President-GM Charles W. Wolfertz III.

Wiggin is one of Pittsburgh’s best known and respected journalists and citizens. In addition to hosting Chronicle, she has involvement in WTAE Black & Gold Primetime, and countless Western Pennsylvania charities.

“I am both honored and humbled by this induction into the Pennsylvania broadcasters Hall of Fame. To join such a distinguished group of broadcasters; is something I would never have dreamed up,” Wiggin said.
