WTIC Hartford Adds Reporter Laura Roberts
Tribune-owned Fox affiliate WTIC Hartford, Conn. (DMA 30), has hired Laura Roberts full time as a general assignment reporter on its 10 and 11 p.m. newscasts. Roberts, a Connecticut native, has been a freelance reporter with the station since April.
Roberts joined WTIC from WBBH Fort Myers, Fla., where she was a nightside reporter for two years covering breaking news, crime and politics.
Prior to WBBH, Roberts was a general assignment reporter in Bangor, Maine.
She grew up in Prospect Connecticut and graduated magna cum laude from Emerson College with a B.S. in broadcast journalism.
