WTIC-WCCT Opens Buying, Selling, Deals Site

CTShopsHere.com offers local Hartford and national deals, money saving tips and lets consumers buy and sell.

Beginning today shoppers can find deals at CTShopsHere.com, a new website from CT1 Media, Tribune’s Hartford, Conn., multimedia operation that includes WTIC and WCCT. The new site includes local and national money-saving offers.

“We’re very excited to offer our users these tips and deals to help them shop even smarter than ever,” said Richard Graziano, the stations’ VP-GM and publisher, president-CEO of the Hartford Courant.  “I can’t think of a better time to launch CTShopsHere.com.”

In addition to timely deals, CTShopsHere.com also provides money-saving tips and advice on a local platform that allows users to interact — to buy and sell. Among the site’s features:

Deals on family travel, home and garden, entertainment and more

CTShopsHere.com is also the place for auto and home shopping and for searching classified marketplace listings. Deal hunters can follow the site on Facebook and learn about timely deals throughout the day on Twitter.

CTShopsHere.com is also in print, mailed to approximately 380,000 households throughout Connecticut each week with money-saving tips and advertising flyers.
