WTTG Names Sarah Simmons A.M. Co-Anchor
Fox O&O WTTG Washington (DMA 8) today announced it has named Sarah Simmons co-anchor of Fox 5 Morning News, from 4:30 to 7 a.m., Monday through Friday.
Simmons has been a member of WTTG since January 2006, when she joined the station as a general assignment reporter. Previously, she worked at KMTV Omaha, Neb. Before that, Simmons was an anchor at WKJG Fort Wayne, Ind.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in communication from Western Illinois University. In addition, she has a master’s degree from the University of Illinois at Springfield in public affairs.
