WTXF Launching ‘The Q’ With Quincy Harris
Fox-owned WTXF Philadelphia (DMA 4) will debut “The Q,” a half-hour local variety/talk show, on Sept. 12. Hosted by the station’s long time Good Day Philadelphia personality and radio DJ Quincy Harris, The Q will be shot daily in front of a studio audience at the Fox 29 Studios in Old City, Philadelphia.
Also featured on the show will be Quincy’s two sidekicks, a local DJ and his studio producer. The show, the station said, will be a mix of pop-culture, music, comedy and high-profile guests.
“Quincy Harris is a star, with a dynamic personality who we believe will round out our strong morning lineup of Good Day Philadelphia, The Wendy Williams Show, The Real and now The Q at noon,” said VP-News Director Jim Driscoll in announcing the show.
Quincy Harris joined WTXF in May of 2014. Prior to that, he was an on-air personality on The Dream Team Morning Show at WUSL-FM in Philly and KPWR-FM in Los Angeles. He was also the host of his own show The Qdeezy Show on WPHI-FM Philadelphia.
