WVIT Adds Tara Joyce As Weekday Morning Anchor
NBC O&O WVIT Hartford, Conn. (DMA 30), has promoted Tara Joyce to co-anchor of its weekday morning news team, joining Todd Piro, Bob Maxon and Heidi Voight on NBC Connecticut Today from 4:30 to 7 a.m.
Joyce has been with WVIT since May 2014 as a reporter and weekend anchor. She previously worked in Green Bay, Wis., as an anchor and general assignment reporter.
Joyce graduated from the University of Connecticut where she received a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in journalism and communications. During her time there, she also interned at WVIT in the newsroom.
