WXIX Cincinnati Slots New Weekend Show

Raycom-owned Fox affiliate WXIX Cincinnati (DMA 36) today announced premiere dates for Cincinnati Connection, a new, weekly, community affairs program on the station and its Bounce digital subchannel.

Cincinnati Connection, which will be hosted by WXIX news anchor Charisse Gibson, premieres on Bounce (ch. 19.2) Saturday, Sept. 9, at 7:30 a.m., followed by an encore presentation the next morning at 5:30 a.m. on WXIX (19.1). 

“In a region with a rich African-American heritage, and diverse points of view,” Cincinnati Connection will give WXIX an opportunity to examine stories that “inspire, elevate and enrich the entire community,” the station said.

According to WXIX GM Debbie Bush, “We hope Cincinnati Connection brings leaders and citizens together to find solutions, foster understanding and celebrate the many good things happening in our community.”
