WXIX To Air Kentucky Gubernatorial Debate

Raycom Media’s Fox affiliate WXIX Cincinnati (DMA 36) will air the Centre College/AARP Kentucky Governor debate live on Tuesday, Oct. 6, from 7 to 8 p.m.

The debate will be broadcast on-air and online at FOX19NOW.com. It will be held at Newlin Hall on the campus of Centre College in Danville, Ky., which was home to a vice-presidential debate in 2000 between Joe Lieberman and Dick Cheney and a presidential debate between Vice President Joe Biden and congressman Paul Ryan in 2012.

The debate, one of five announced, will also air on Raycom’s WAVE Louisville, WFIE Owensboro-Henderson, WQWQ-LP Paducah-Cape Girardeau, as well as Cordillera’s WLEX Lexington, Gray’s WSAZ Huntington, WHAS-AM Louisville, Kentucky News Network radio affiliates and some Kentucky NPR affiliates.
