WZZM Adds Another Investigative Reporter

Tegna-owned ABC affiliate WZZM Grand Rapids, Mich. (DMA 40), has added investigative journalist David Bailey to its Watchdog Investigative Team. He starts on Sept. 1.

Bailey has been the chief investigative reporter for WWMT Kalamazoo, Mich., for the past eight years.

“More importantly than the awards, David’s reporting has resulted in change,” said WZZM 13 News Director Taz Painter. “State rules have been adjusted, new legislation has been introduced, and criminal charges have been filed because of what David has uncovered.”

Prior to WWMT, Bailey worked at WOFL Orlando, Fla.; WXMI Grand Rapids; WGXA Macon, Ga.; and WBOY Clarksburg, W.Va.
