WZZM Grand Rapids Expands Noon Newscast
Gannett-owned ABC affiliate WZZM Grand Rapids, Mich. (DMA 39) will add a half hour to its weekday noon news, extending it to 1 p.m. beginning Tuesday, May 27.
“We are thrilled about expanding this extremely popular newscast,” says Janet Mason, WZZM president- GM.
Longtime news anchor Lauren Stanton and meteorologist Aaron Ofseyer will anchor the extended broadcast. Stanton is a Michigan native and graduate of Central Michigan University. Ofseyer is a graduate of the University of Hartford and came to WZZM from KEZI Eugene, Ore., in 2011.
