WWOR My9 will be televising 21 Yankees games over the new season. This marks the seventh consecutive year that the station has aired the team's contests.
YES Keeps Yanks On WWOR My9
WWOR-TV will be the exclusive local broadcast home of The New York Yankees for the seventh consecutive year, announced WWOR My9 vice president and general manager Lew Leone. During the 2011 MLB season, Yankee fans will see their favorite team play 21 games on WWOR My9.
In making the announcement, Leone stated, “My9 is proud to be the long-standing broadcast home of the New York Yankees. We enjoy a great partnership with the YES Network and look forward to presenting this year’s terrific slate of games to the number one television market.”
