ABC’s slice of the Monday Night Football pie this week amounted to 6.1 million total viewers and a 1.1 demo rating, down 13% and 15% from the early numbers for last week’s Lions/Raiders game.
Over on NBC, The Voice drew 6.4 mil and a 0.5, steady week-to-week. The Irrational added eyeballs (with 3.67 mil) and posted its sixth 0.3 rating in seven tries.
Back after two weeks of baseball benchings, Fox’s Kitchen Nightmares (1.5 mil/0.3) and Special Forces: WTT (1.1 mil/0.2) were both down.
CBS’ 9 pm NCIS rerun (2.3 mil/0.1) drew a markedly larger audience than what the sidelined Lotería Loca last did (1.0.5 mil/0.1).
The CW’s rejiggered Monday slate of Penn & Teller: Fool Us rerun (310K/0.1) followed by new eps of Masters of Illusion (260K/0.1) and World’s Funniest Animals (300K/0.1) all told fared better than the line-up that included FBoy Island Season 3.

The Live+Same Day numbers reported in our ratings column do not reflect a show’s overall performance, given the increased use of delayed playback via DVR and streaming platforms, plus out-of-home viewing. These numbers (Nielsen fast nationals, unless denoted as finals) instead aim to simply illustrate trends or superlatives. This is only an exhibition, this is not a competition. Please, no wagering.
Just a heads up it was Chargers/Jets not Chiefs/jets
Ha, fixed! That’s what I get for quickly jotting “CH/JETS”
Surprised that NBC didn’t flex the upcoming SNF game of Jets Vs Riders considering their current standings. It’s bound to be a snooze fest ratings wise.
I look forward to PBS every Sunday. Annika is great. World on Fire is good too. PBS shows hardly ever disappoint.
The Chargers don’t have much of a fan base. Made worse by the move from San Diego. BTW, I was a San Diego Chargers fan. The Chargers’ home games in Los Angeles, more often than not, have more fans of the opponent, than Chargers’ fans in attendance. They had a similar problem when the team was in San Diego, but nowhere near as bad as it is now. They should have moved the team to San Antonio. Football is huge in Texas.
The Jets are a brutal team to watch on offense with a QB that just can’t get it together. Their offense is horrible, and all of Aaron Rodgers’ buddies that were added to the roster haven’t helped the team much.
