NBC’s first-year comedy I Feel Bad finished its season on an even keel Thursday — which is to say it didn’t draw much of an audience.
The first of two episodes drew a 0.5 rating among adults 18-49 and 2.5 million viewers, improving a little bit on the show’s last episode (0.4 and 1.86 million on Dec. 13). It was I Feel Bad‘s most-watched episode since its time-period premiere in early October.
The season finale, however, came back down to 0.4 in the demo and 1.9 million viewers. For the season, I Feel Bad averaged a same-day 0.6 in the demo and 2.52 million viewers, including its two-episode premiere after the America’s Got Talent finale in September.
Everything else on the broadcast networks Thursday night was a rerun or a special. A Big Bang Theory rerun led primetime with a 1.0 in adults 18-49. Repeats of Young Sheldon and Mom each drew 0.8s, and ABC’s special Happy New Year, Charlie Brown came in at 0.7.
CBS led the network rankings with a 0.7 rating in the 18-49 demo. There was a three-way tie for second between ABC, Fox and NBC, all of which averaged 0.5. The CW trailed with a 0.2.
