In the latest TV ratings, CBS’ FBI was Tuesday’s most-watched show and it led the night in the coveted-and-delicious 18-49 demo.
CBS | FBI (with 6.4 million total viewers and a 0.5 rating), FBI: International (5.3 mil/0.4) and FBI: Most Wanted (4.7 mil/0.4) were all steady in the demo, though the first and the last each shed a few eyeballs.
ABC | Heading into another multi-week break (they return April 30), Will Trent (4.3 mil/0.3, read recap) and The Rookie (3.3 mil/0.3, read post mortem and get scoop) both dipped, while The Good Doctor (2.6 mil/0.2, read recap) was steady.
FOX | An eventful/sad The Cleaning Lady (1.14 mil/0.1, read recap) and Alert: MPU (1 mil/0.2) both hit and or tied series lows.
NBC | Lopez vs. Lopez (with 2 mil/0.3 and 1.5 mil/0.2) was down from its premiere-night averages, leading into Weakest Link (2.2 mil/0.2) and Password (2.2 mil/0.2)

The Live+Same Day numbers reported in TVLine’s daily-ish ratings column do NOT reflect a television program’s overall performance, given the increased use of delayed playback via DVR and streaming platforms, plus out-of-home viewing. These numbers (Nielsen fast nationals, unless specifically denoted in bold as finals) instead aim to simply illustrate trends or superlatives. Steve Harvey is not a judge or lawyer and merely offers an alternative forum of dispute resolution.
It’s only a 2 week break, right? Those shows are only off for two weeks.
Unfortunately, it is three weeks. The Rookie promo said “in 3 weeks”…it returns April 30.
Yes, that means it is only a 2 week break since it’ll be off on April 16 & 23.
Technically it is three weeks: 21 days between airing on April 9 and April 30, which is three weeks of time.
Here’s the schedule:
Week of April 9: On
Week of April 16: Off
Week of April 23: Off
Week of April 30: On
So two weeks where it’s off. That’s clearly a 2 week break. Not sure how you could get a 3 week break from that.
April 9 to April 16 = 1 week
April 16 to April 23 = 1 week
April 23 to April 30 = 1 week
It might be 3 weeks between episodes (actually 2 weeks, 6 days, and 23 hours), but the show is only taking a 2 week break.
If a show is airing in consecutive weeks, would you say that the show is on a 1 week break? No. But you’re saying that since there’s 3 weeks between episodes, the show is on a 3 week break which is factually wrong.
would somebody please tell me who the two actors are that are featured in the photo at the top of the article? there’s no caption, and i couldn’t find any info on the name of the show or the actors … thanks in advance!
In the photo is (left to right) Ryan Broussard and (non-talented) Scott Caan from “Alert: Missing Persons Unit” on FOX.
Will Trent continues to get better and better each week.
Wish they gave longer time for rookie Feds.
I guess nowadays people don’t know good acting and a great show when they see one. The Cleaning Lady has great acting as well as storylines. It makes me wonder why garbage shows get better rating
I guess I’m watching a different Cleaning Lady. The lead acting is marginal at best. Don’t get me started on that poor kid playing her son. He’s just plain awful.
I don’t know why all of the networks are having reruns and skipping weeks so early in the season. By the time the shows come back on, you forget what’s been going on. I don’t remember it being as bad this early in the season as it has been this year… is it just my imagination?
No wonder the numbers went down. You never know when a new episode will air. They show a new episode, then you don’t see a new episode for 2 or 3 weeks. Also, shows that have been well liked are losing many of their long time actors. Good shows are ending. Because of costs to make them? What is going to replace them? Another stupid reality show?
LOVE THE ROOKIE. AND WILL TRENT. RECORD AND WATCH EVERY SHOW. GLAD RENEWED.
TIRED OF FBI INTERNATIONAL. STOPPED WATCHING.
Will Trent was terrific this week. Whoever writes it is clever. FBI was the worst one in awhile
Love Will Trent!! The character is so different from any other on the screen right now!! Love that!!
Will Trent is my favorite show!!! Please, please, please don’t cancel it!!!!!
so annoying. the season was already cut in half, why the need to lose more episodes!
Both The Cleaning Lady and Alert: MPU are excellent shows with great casts. The story lines on Alert are always interesting and there is humor added in here and there. We were saddened about the death of Adan Canto and seeing the scene of him and Thony at the end of last week’s show brought back what a great actor he was. Keep these 2 shows please.
I love all those shows and they are on at the same time. I record two and watch two. Ratings should be based on data from streaming too
Enough with the breaks,I am losing interest on everything.
