Paramount+ has canceled its iCarly reboot after three seasons.
The news comes after Laci Mosley, who starred in the update of the beloved Nickelodeon series, posted, “It’s canceled babes,” on X (formerly Twitter) in response to a fan wondering about the show’s future.
“iCarly will not be returning for a fourth season on Paramount+,” a spokesperson for the streamer said in a statement. “The series had a great three-season run and delivered on what fans really wanted to see with Carly and Freddie finally getting together. We want to thank the entire cast, the writers, directors and producers along with the whole crew for their dedication, creativity and talent.”

Mosley added, “Not a joke. The best people I’ve ever worked with in the business. Thank you for tuning in to the reboot. Everyone put their deeply kind talented souls into this.”
Paramount+ debuted the iCarly sequel in 2021, following the now grown-up Carly Shay (Miranda Cosgrove) and her friends as they deal with work, relationships and families as young adults. Along with Cosgrove, Nathan Kress (Freddie) and Jerry Trainor (Spencer) reprised their roles from the 2007-12 Nick series, with Mosley and Jaidyn Triplett also in the regular cast.
As is the case with most streaming series, viewing data for iCarly isn’t publicly available. The show’s 10-episode third season finished its run in late July.
Ali Schouten-Seeks served as showrunner on the series and executive produced with Phill Lewis and Cosgrove. Trainor, Kress and Alissa Vradenburg were producers.
