Is a Seinfeld revival in the works? During a stand-up show in Boston over the weekend, Jerry Seinfeld teased that possibility or something of that sort.
Seinfeld referred to the iconic comedy series finale, telling the crowd that he has a “little secret” and that “something is going to happen” related to that ending.
“It hasn’t happened yet,” he teased. “And just what you are thinking about, Larry [David] and I have also been thinking about, so you’ll see… you’ll see.”
Seinfeld did not elaborate, so we’ll all have to stay tuned.
Buzz of a possible Seinfeld revival is not new. When asked by Ellen DeGeneres on her show in 2018 if Seinfeld could follow other sitcom revivals such as Will & Grace and Roseanne, Seinfeld said, “It’s possible.”
Created by Larry David and Seinfeld, the sitcom aired on NBC for nine seasons from 1989-98 starring Seinfeld as a fictionalized version of himself. The show focused on his personal life with his three best friends George (Jason Alexander), former girlfriend Elaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) and his neighbor Cosmo (Michael Richards).
