Ratings: NCIS: Sydney Finale Dips Opposite Primary Coverage, With Season 2 TBD

In the latest TV ratings, CBS’ NCIS: Sydney finale was Tuesday’s most-watched show, while ABC’s Celebrity Jeopardy! tied Fox’s The Floor for the night’s highest demo rating.

CBS | Whilst still awaiting a decision on possible Season 2 renewal, NCIS: Sydney — this TV season’s most-watched freshman series — wrapped its Stateside run with 4.6 million total viewers and a 0.3 demo rating, dipping week-to-week opposite New Hampshire primary coverage (which amassed nearly 11 million viewers on the Big 3 cabler newsers). TVLine readers gave the finale an average grade of “A,” while the season as a whole netted an “A-“; read our post mortem interview about that closing twist!

NBC | Night Court (2.9 mil/0.3) matched its demo low, Extended Family (2.1 mil/0.2) hit lows, and La Brea (2.1 mil/0.2; read Izzy post mortem) was steady.

FOX | Name That Tune (1.6 mil/0.3) was steady, while The Floor (2.5 mil/0.4) ticked down vs. last week’s highs.

ABC | Celeb Jeop! (4.2 mil/0.4) was steady, while the final two Only Murders in the Building Season 1 reruns averaged 2.3 mil and a 0.2.

THE CW | Inside the NFL (310K) was steady, while Whose Line Is It Anyway? (420) grew.
