In the latest TV show ratings, the return of ABC’s The Bachelor led Monday in the demo, while NBC’s AGT: Fantasy League was the night’s most-watched program.
ABC | The Bachelor opened Season 28 with 3.1 million total viewers and a 0.5 demo rating, up a bit in audience but down a tick in the demo from its previous averages; read recap. Whatever Bad Romance is led out of that with 2 mil and a 0.2.
NBC | AGT: Fantasy League (4.2 mil/0.4, read recap) rose in Week 4 to hit and match season highs. An episode of Peacock’s The Traitors retained 1.3 mil and a 0.2.
FOX | America’s Most Wanted (and John Walsh!) returned to 2.1 mil and a 0.3, followed by TMZ Investigates‘ 1.5 mil/0.2.
THE CW | The broadcast premiere of Hallmark’s one-and-done Ride drew 442,000 total viewers — the CW time slot’s largest audience since a Dec. 18 airing of a Freddy Mercury documentary — and a 0.1 demo rating.

The Live+Same Day numbers reported in our ratings column do not reflect a show’s overall performance, given the increased use of delayed playback via DVR and streaming platforms, plus out-of-home viewing. These numbers (Nielsen fast nationals, unless denoted as finals) instead aim to simply illustrate trends or superlatives. This is only an exhibition, this is not a competition. Please, no wagering.
So Ride’s a one and done? No need to watch that first episode then.
What was Ride doing ratings wise on Hallmark?

The CW’s new strategy and experimentation to see ‘what sticks’ so they can finally become profitable for the first time in their history is commendable. This show has been described as ‘The Hallmark Yellowstone’. Sounds promising that there will be a second season – I read this today on another site: ‘On Friday, Nancy Travis posted a reminder on Instagram. She wrote “Comin’ back to town. @thecw starting Jan 22 8/7c – Swing by!” This post was liked by nearly 1,000 people, including Hallmark’s EVP of Programming, Lisa Hamilton Daly, and included a big question.
One fan asked, “Is this season 2???” Nancy replied to this poster, “Soon.”
I feel like Ride had potential but the storylines/writing needed to be better. I liked the show so time will tell if CW will invest more into it.
Just watched Ride and really liked it. Hope that the CW decides to invest in a season 2.
