In the latest TV ratings, CBS’ Survivor was Wednesday’s most-watched and highest-rated show, with NBC’s #OneChicago still in rerun mode.
CBS | Survivor (with 4.6 million total viewers and a 0.7 demo rating) ticked up in both measures; read recap. The Amazing Race‘s Season 36 premiere (2.8 mil/0.4) was up 7% in audience from its previous premiere and steady in the demo; TVLine readers gave TAR‘s return an average grade of “B+.”
FOX | The Masked Singer (3.3 mil/0.4, read recap) was steady, Animal Control (1.7 mil/0.2) added some viewers, and Family Guy (810K/0.2) dropped some eyeballs vs. its Wednesday debut.
ABC | The Conners (3.4 mil/0.4, read recap) and Not Dead Yet (2.2 mil/0.3) were steady, Abbott Elementary (2.4 mil/0.4) grew in both measures, and Judge Steve Harvey (1.5 mil/0.1) dipped in the demo with an Abbott rerun as a lead-in this week.

The Live+Same Day numbers reported in TVLine’s daily-ish ratings column do NOT reflect a television program’s overall performance, given the increased use of delayed playback via DVR and streaming platforms, plus out-of-home viewing. These numbers (Nielsen fast nationals, unless specifically denoted in bold as finals) instead aim to simply illustrate trends or superlatives. Steve Harvey is not a judge or lawyer and merely offers an alternative forum of dispute resolution.
There is so much on Wednesday and the Chicagos will be back soon. DO the networks know that there is six other days of the week?
I liked Abbott Elementary last night but overall the season has been lackluster. Janine working at the district but always at Abbott? Too many celebrities that add nothing to the story.
Abbott is still great; they needed to skip half the year, show wise, to keep it current due to the writer’s strike. I’m sure any kinks will be ironed out, I’ve been enjoying the season.
I’m still laughing and enjoying it.
Cree Summer Francks as the librarian on Abbott Elementary? Yes, please. Is a return trip to AE for her possible?
