Virginia Sherwood/NBC

In the latest TV ratings, NBC’s Law & Order: SVU was Thursday’s most-watched show, and it also led the night in the coveted and delicious 18-49 age demographic.

NBC | Law & Order (with 4.5 million total viewers and a 0.4 demo rating), SVU (4.9 million viewers/0.5 rating) and Law & Order: Organized Crime (3.6 mil/0.4) were all down a tick from their season premieres — yet still easily bested all comers.

FOX | Averaging 2.1 million total viewers and a 0.3 rating, Hell’s Kitchen dipped with its two-hour season finale, tying its season low in the demo.

The Live+Same Day numbers reported in our ratings column do not reflect a show’s overall performance, given the increased use of delayed playback via DVR and streaming platforms, plus out-of-home viewing. These numbers (Nielsen fast nationals, unless denoted as finals) instead aim to simply illustrate trends or superlatives. Kids, ask parents before calling.
