In the latest TV ratings, an FBI rerun on CBS was Tuesday’s most-watched program, while Fox’s The Floor led the night in the demo.
FOX | Name That Tune (with 1.7 million total viewers and a 0.3 demo rating) was steady, while The Floor (2.5 mil/0.4) dipped in both measures.
NBC | Night Court (3.2 mil/0.3) added viewers, while Extended Family (2.5 mil/0.2) was steady. The penultimate episode of La Brea (2 mil/0.2, read recap) and the yet-to-be-renewed Quantum Leap (1.5 mil/0.2, read recap) both slipped to new audience lows.
ABC | Celebrity Wheel of Fortune drew 3.1 million viewers and a 0.3 rating.
CBS | The aforementioned FBI repeat delivered 3.8 million viewers.
THE CW | Inside the NFL (320K) and Whose Line Is It Anyway? (460K) both were down in audience.

The Live+Same Day numbers reported in our ratings column do not reflect a show’s overall performance, given the increased use of delayed playback via DVR and streaming platforms, plus out-of-home viewing. These numbers (Nielsen fast nationals, unless denoted as finals) instead aim to simply illustrate trends or superlatives. Steve Harvey is not a judge or lawyer and merely offers an alternative forum of dispute resolution.
I don’t see Quantum Leap or Extended Family being renewed.
Wasn’t Night Court the most watched? By the article anyway.
Sucks for Quantum Leap because I’m actually loving it – can’t see it being renewed at all.
Typo; FBI had 3.8 million.
The timeslot change has pretty much killed QL. I really don’t understand the concept of bouncing shows around the schedule when they are doing decently in their current slot. QL is not a 10 PM type of show. My only hopes are that the 9 PM showing in two weeks shows enough of a boost to give it a chance, or streaming and live +7 has is bigger to balance out the decreased live viewers, or that NBC is nice and renews it for a “final season” of 8-10 episodes so they can wrap everything up nicely, or they make it a Peacock exclusive. I don’t know how many new shows NBC has ready to go for the Fall due to the strike so that could maybe play a part? Trying to stay optimistic but it’s not looking great. Either way, I am grateful we got a couple more seasons of one of my favorite shows of all time, just wish it could be more. And I’m sure most fans of the original just want to see Sam one more time also…..
Hoping the +7 ratings continue to be strong for Quantum Leap. It was doing fine before the time change.
The ratings for Quantum Leap are falling into a La Brea sinkhole
I had reservations about The Floor after watching the first episode, but now I’m hooked. Rooting for Joey to take out Stephanie! I really like Extended Family (love Jon Cryer) but don’t care for Night Court that much. Not impressed with remakes.
NBC needs to do right by Quantum Leap because I love that show. Extended Family for sure should be cancelled, a comedy show with 0 comedy.
Need ratings of love plus five days. I forgot Quantum Leap was on and watched the episode the next day.
I love Quantum Leap, now I worry it will be canceled and Ben will be stuck out there… sigh.
