In the latest TV ratings, ABC’s slice of Monday Night Football coverage averaged 7.8 million total viewers and a 1.2 demo rating, up 28% and a tenth from the early numbers for last week.
Over on NBC, The Voice drew 6.3 mil and a 0.5, holding steady week-to-week; read recap. Leading out of that, a new episode of The Wall (2.6 mil/0.2) fell well shy of what The Irrational — which ran out of episodes, at least for the time being — had been averaging (3.8 mil/0.3).
Fox’s Kitchen Nightmares (1.6 mil/0.3) and Special Forces: WTT (1.2 mil/0.2) were both steady.
The CW’s Masters of Illusion (210K) and World’s Funniest Animals (220K) were both down sharply in audience.

The Live+Same Day numbers reported in our ratings column do not reflect a show’s overall performance, given the increased use of delayed playback via DVR and streaming platforms, plus out-of-home viewing. These numbers (Nielsen fast nationals, unless denoted as finals) instead aim to simply illustrate trends or superlatives. Steve Harvey is not a judge or lawyer and merely offers an alternative forum of dispute resolution.
I’m guessing most fans of “The Wall” had no idea it was on last night. I recorded it on my DVR, but only because it was set to record “The Irrational” and got the game show instead.
You’re right. I was watching things off the DVR & thought darn I didn’t set the DVR for The Irrational. Went to the network & got surprised that The Wall was on. Thought it was a rerun till I hit info & saw it was new.
I was mad at my Cable provider for a minue until I realized there was no irrational last night. Come back soon, please.
Special Forces, I say this every week, is no joke. This week’s challenge, getting out of a submerged helicopter, is again, edge of your seat kind of stuff. Really enjoyed it.
Good news for The Irrational renewal chances
I watched the content on my DVR on Monday night and it looks like for Tuesday it will be the same. I prefer to watch The Irrational over The Wall anyday. I haven’t forgotten the Hardwick situation no matter how much time has passed.
