CBS Fall Premiere Dates: Big Bang, Magnum P.I., Murphy Brown and More
As usual, everything starts with a Big Bang: CBS has unveiled its fall premiere game plan for the 2018-19 TV season, kicking things off with the Season 12 premiere of The Big Bang Theory on Monday, Sept. 24 at 8/7c, followed by the Season 2 debut of spinoff Young Sheldon at 8:30 pm. (Both shows will shift to their regular Thursday timeslots later that week, on Thursday, Sept. 27 at 8 and 8:30 pm.)
Among CBS’ new fall offerings, the revamped Magnum P.I. (starring Jay Hernandez in the title role) will debut on Monday, Sept. 24 at 9 pm, following the special Big Bang and Young Sheldon premieres. Plus, the much-anticipated revival of Murphy Brown will debut Thursday, Sept. 27 at 9:30 pm, after the Season 6 premiere of Mom.
CBS is the fourth major network to reveal its fall premiere dates, following NBC, The CW and Fox. Still to come: ABC.

CBS Monday is a loser. Scorpion fans will boycott Bull will be cancelled this boycott is for real
I frequently see people talking about boycotts and how it will effect shows blah blah. But not once have I actually seen a so called boycott have any impact.
Let’s punish Bull for something someone else did!! That’s the American way!!
If you are going to boycott anything, it should be something new because CBS thought it could make more money with a new project than by sticking with a veteran show. You could boycott Magnum P.I. because that’s likely the project CBS thought would be more profitable, but it is a reboot so people may not end up liking it and then should it fail, you can claim it’s because Scorpion fans refused to watch it. That probably won’t be the real reason should it fail, but claim it anyway because it makes you feel good. That’s my plan when one of NBC drama pilots inevitably fails so I can say Timeless fans boycotted. I know it won’t be true, but it will make feel a little bit better. Bull’s ratings may drop because of the time change, but it will probably do well enough and is likely to get renewed even with lower ratings. Boycotting it is an empty threat.
Thanks for screwing up Tuesday! You moved Bull to disgusting Monday night. It would have been great with Scorpion. Intelligent people like intelligent programs. Scorpion and Code Black were those programs. Thank goodness for channels other than CBS
My sentiments exactly. They keep crap but get rid of good shows. I liked pure genius, can do without big brother, survivor, etc., code black I liked my tv stayed on cbs. It’s time for me to venture out. I really havent watched my favorites because I can’t trust cbs not to cancel after I get invested.

I really enjoyed scorpion. I watched it weekly and really followed the storyline. Really enjoyed the storyline when Walter and Paige were together. I thought that the problems that this team of geniuses encounter were within the realms of possibility— although they were far- fetched, but extremely entertaining!! Would love to have this series continued!!

I don’t u derstand the Scorpion cancellation OR the moving of BULL to Monday. But that is the crux of the matter when it comes to network tcpv now. Moving shows around really hurts them, the fans, and ultimately the ratings. Last year I was ill and watched waaaaaaaaaaaaay to much tv. I made a list of tv shows at beginning I’d season, I’d revised it so much by January it was practically unreadable. You network people are smart. Can’t you figure out moving a show here, there and yonder makes it lose viewers? Yes, yes, I realize this is “Premier Week” etc etc. but do you also know how ,Amy people expect Bull to be on after NCIS every Tuesday? It’s not rocket science. Give a show a time slot ….AND KEEP IT THERE.
I think they have given FBI the time slot between the two NCIS shows so it will be a hit, just because of its time slot. I think that’s why Bull got moved and the empty slot was Scorpion’s. Bull can stand on its own now. But if I don’t like FBI, I have no problem switching channels in between shows.

So I guess CBS is going to push on the 24th the new shows that are going to be where TBBT and YS start. I get why CBS needed the change on Monday but this change will only hurt Bull however I don’t see Bull being cancelled because Scorpion fans are mad. And it seems CBS really does love Seal Team pushing it a week back( Sorry Fire is still going to beat it and so is Star and so will the first half of ABC at least. CBS is only delaying the inevitable decline. and again wasting Survivor’s lead in. just because SIX on History is gone doesn’t mean it will gain viewers. I love DB but CBS should stop trying to make this show work. Otherwise the rest look alright

Code Black is the best medical drama on TV. It could have lived on as a summer series….. but no. CBS would rather have more shows about killing people rather than ones about saving lives.

CBS is just plain STUPID! Code Black had more action, better writing and was more interesting to watch than NCIS has been since Ziva left. This is why people are leaving the the little three in Hope’s of finding good programing!
I hate that they moved BULL to Monday’s @10. They should of left that show on Tuesdays after NCIS… I hope the ratings don’t fall to bad. Maybe they’ll move it back if FBI doesn’t take off.

FBI, Madam Secretary and Murphy Brown. Look good to me, And that’s it. I wish Code Black was on the schedule. it has been especially awesome this season. The rest of the schedule looks like the same old crap. I’ve watched NCIS for a long time but it’s tired and the derivatives were MEH. Murphy Brown being the exception, i could live without all the remake and reboots. There are exciting writers in the world writing interesting things that would make TV series, different TV series — dramas, science fiction, stories with international themes and yet all we get is either reboots, remakes, or the same old crap with a different cast and a different title. I AM SO FREAKING BORED! Thank god for BOOKS!

I’ve been watching the last season of Code Black and I’m so impressed with every single performance that I don’t understand how CBS would cancel this superb show! So much emotion in every episode I was weeping in every episode. That’s not like me since I’m not a crier!

I am truly sorry to see that Scorpion has been cancelled!! My family really enjoyed watching this show. Guess we will be going to bed early on Mondays now.
