TBS has ordered a half-hour comedy pilot from its late night host, Conan O’Brien.
The multi-camera sitcom project, which hails from Warner Horizon and O’Brien’s Conaco shingle, centers on a family man who quits his day job and returns to the neighborhood where he grew up. While there, he reunites with his former best friend. Production on the project will begin later this year.
O’Brien, Jeff Ross (Conan) and David Kissinger (Eagleheart, Andy Barker, P.I.) will serve as executive producers, along with writers Ben Wexler (Still Standing), Ross Novie and Jay Rondot (Secret Girlfriend). Wexler is also on board as showrunner.
O’Brien is repped by WME.
