Fox has given an official pilot greenlight to the multicamera comedy from “30 Rock’s” Matt Hubbard, Tina Fey and Robert Carlock and has signed on “How I Met Your Mother‘s” Pam Fryman to direct and executive produce.

The untitled comedy, which is set at women’s university that begins to accept men, received a series commitment from Fox last summer after a bidding war. It comes from Universal Television and Fey’s Little Stranger.  Hubbard penned the script and will serve as showrunner. Fey and Carlock are executive producing.

Fryman (pictured) directed the pilot of CBS’s “Mother” and serves as director and executive producer of that sitcom.

Variety sister site Deadline Hollywood broke the news of the pilot order.
