“Gilmore Girls” creators Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino have signed an overall multi-year deal with Amazon Studios, the streaming service announced Monday.

In addition to the upcoming ’50s-set “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,” Sherman-Palladino and Palladino will develop other new series for the streaming giant.

It’s unclear how the deal might impact their plans for additional seasons of the “Gilmore Girls” reboot on rival service Netflix, which debuted “Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life” last fall.

Sherman-Palladino wrote, directed and executive produced “Mrs. Maisel,” the first Amazon pilot to receive a two-season pickup. Palladino serves as executive producer on the show, which debuts this fall.

Rachel Brosnahan (“House of Cards”) stars as Miriam “Midge” Maisel, a 1958 New York City woman who has everything she’s ever wanted — the perfect husband, two kids and an elegant Upper West Side apartment perfect for hosting Yom Kippur dinner.

But her perfect life suddenly takes an unexpected turn and Midge discovers a previously unknown talent for stand-up comedy that takes her from her comfortable life on Riverside Drive, through the basket houses and nightclubs of Greenwich Village to a spot on Johnny Carson’s couch.

The series also stars Michael Zegen (“Boardwalk Empire”), Alex Borstein (“Family Guy”),  Tony Shalhoub (“Monk”) and Marin Hinkle (“Two and a Half Men”).

“Amy and Dan are brilliant. Everything they create has such an incredible vision behind it. On top of that, they’re wonderfully funny and smart people. Also, Amy has the best hats in show business,” Joe Lewis, Amazon Studios’ Head of Comedy, Drama and VR, said in a statement.

“We’re excited about the next two seasons of ‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’ with them and, with this deal, we can’t wait to do a lot more together.”
