News Director Rebecca Gaylord is one of the driving forces behind KOCO 5 News, leading us and charging us to be strong journalists in our community.And now, we’re standing behind her, hoping to give her strength as she battles breast cancer.When Rebecca first told us about the breast cancer, she had only known a few days. Every day in Oklahoma City is busy and she wanted to let everyone know she was still going to be here, standing behind us and pushing us to continue our path as strong journalists.On Thursday, she starts her first round of chemotherapy. We know so many of you out there have experienced breast cancer – whether it was you or a loved one. We want to make sure Rebecca knows that #nobodyfightsalone.
