EXCLUSIVE: Longtime Daily Show co-executive producer Hillary Kun will be leaving Comedy Central‘s signature show. She’s a multiple Emmy winner who had been with the show over 14 years. During her time there, she worked very closely with longtime host Jon Stewart and then his replacement Trevor Noah, and basically booked all of the guests and produced all of the guest segments. Those guests ranged from movie stars to musicians, authors, presidents and other pols. Most shows have multiple bookers who wrangle guests in different disciplines; Kun did it herself. She hasn’t figured out her next move, but she’s repped at CAA so all of this will be formulated shortly. “I have had an incredible 14+ years working at The Daily Show,” Kun told Deadline. “I have been lucky to work with some of the best people in the business. At this juncture in my career, I feel it is simply time for me to pursue new opportunities.”
