The Daytime Emmy Awards are headed to Time Warner’s HLN/Headline News network, according to Broadcasting & Cable. The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences also hopes to secure AOL as the awards show’s social media parter. Nominations for the Daytime Emmys had been expected to be announced Friday but have been delayed until Wednesday May 9 to give NATAS time to wrap up those deals. With the cancellation of multiple network soap operas such as All My Children, One Life To Live and As The World Turns, the telecast has lost some of its celebrity luster. The last two telecasts have been on CBS but were produced by Associated Television International, which leased the airtime and sold ads and arranged produce placement deals. ATI and NATAS have been unable to come to terms this year and the major networks declined to air the telecast, so the organization has been working to come up with a new arrangement
