John Rizzotti has been named vice president of communications for “Entertainment Tonight” and “The Insider.”
Rizzotti, who spent nine years at E!, will oversee publicity for both entertainment news shows. He officially started in his new post earlier this month.
Most recently, Rizzotti was executive director of publicity at E!, and prior to that, he helped launch flagship series at the cable net, including “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” “Chelsea Lately” and “Fashion Police.”
Before joining E!, Rizzotti worked in publicity for six years at 20th Television, a division of Fox, where he oversaw the launches of “Good Day Live,” “On Air With Ryan Seacrest” and a host of other shows.
L.A.-based Rizzotti reports to John Wentworth, exec VP of communications at CBS TV Distribution.
