Detroit TV news anchor accused of sexual misconduct

A Detroit TV station is being accused of covering up sexual harassment by one of its anchors.

A pastor, speaking on behalf of the accuser, says WXYZ's Malcolm Maddox sent a woman inappropriate emails and texts even after she told him to stop.

Maddox and the woman were co-workers at the time.

She claims she was moved to another shift after she told the station's general manager, while Maddox was promoted to morning news anchor.

He is now on administrative leave.
