TecNec showing Delvcam HD LCD monitors at NAB2006

At NAB2006, TecNec Distributing a broadcast, pro audio and multimedia wholesale distributor, will showcase two new Delvcam high-resolution 16:9 color LCD monitors: the 7-inch DELV-7XLPRO and the 5.6-inch DELV-5XLPRO. Designed for the broadcast market, the monitors come standard with a looping video input and can be customized to meet an individual facility’s needs through Delvcam’s array of mounting, display, power accessories,and adaptors. All of TecNec’s products will be on display at its booth, C5541.

Weighing 1.5 pounds and featuring a looping video input, the DELV-7XLPRO and DELV-5XLPRO are designed for broadcasters looking to tie together several monitors as part of an in-line monitoring system. Each monitor features a 16:9 aspect ratio, 480-line resolution, and a built-in 255-channel television tuner with NTSC, PAL, or SECAM auto-detect.

The DELV-7XLPRO and DELV-5XLPRO offer ultra-bright, high-resolution LCD technology and boast wide-angle peripheral viewing. Low power consumption, heat dissipation and cost allow the monitors to be used for both fixed and mobile applications. With both vertical and horizontal image-reverse controls, they can also be mounted almost anywhere. Accessories include a base support/tabletop stand, AC adaptor, cigarette car adaptor, 75-ohm CATV adaptor, a remote control and earphones.

Optional system accessories for the DELV-7XLPRO and DELV-5XLPRO include a dual-hotshoe-plus mount, an infinitely adjustable Israeli arm, a V-GRIP mount, fixed mounts, a Z-stand, a heavy-duty gooseneck and superclamp combo, a dual-monitor rackmount, an HDV camera-handle mount and a number of hotshoe and clamp options. For powering, broadcasters can add portable battery packs, LCD power cables, a NiMh AA battery pack kit and a camcorder battery power converter. Both the DELV-7XLPRO and DELV-5XLPRO can be outfitted with optional metal roll cages and sun shades.
