ABC Wins Slow Midterm Election Night

In a night dominated by reruns and midterm election returns, ABC got an easy victory, while most networks sank to their lowest Tuesday numbers of the season. ABC averaged a 2.4 adults 18-49 rating and 7 share, buoyed by a 90-minute Dancing with the Stars, easily the night’s top show with a 3.1 rating from 8 to 9:30 p.m.

CBS In A Rare Monday Tie With ABC

ABC’s Dancing with the Stars had plenty of hoopla for the show’s 200th episode last night, but CBS still managed to tie the usual Monday leader, the first time this season anyone has caught up to ABC. The networks each averaged a 3.6 adults 18-49 rating and 9 share, just ahead of third-place Fox with the final game of the World Series, which averaged a 3.3/8 for the night.

Really Big Night For Sports On TV

Sports dominated broadcast last night, with two football games and game four of the World Series powering NBC to first place and Fox to second last night. NBC averaged a 5.2 adults 18-49 rating and14 share, with Fox close behind at 4.7/13.
