Capitol Broadcasting’s WRAL Raleigh, N.C., launched a news streaming channel so popular out of the gate that the company carried it over to linear TV and radio simulcasts. A quick turn to profitability followed.
Sinclair Broadcast Group’s NewsON free streaming service said it added Capitol Broadcasting’s new streaming channel WRAL News Plus to NewsON’s channel lineup. WRAL news content is also available on the VUit and Local Now streaming news platforms.
WRAL, the Capitol-owned station in Raleigh, N.C., has launched WRAL News+, featuring trending headlines, the latest severe weather, breaking news, up-to-the-minute traffic, and local reporting.
