TrafficLand Expands Traffic Video Network

TrafficLand, an authorized aggregator of live traffic video in the U.S., announced today it has reached agreements with Departments of Transportation (DOT) in California, New Jersey, New Hampshire and Rhode Island. Under the agreements, TrafficLand gains authorized access to live video from traffic camera networks operated by the following state and municipal transportation departments: Santa Clara County Roads Dept. — 450 cameras; Burlington County N.J. — 50 cameras; New Hampshire DOT — approximately 130 cameras; and Rhode Island DOT — approximately 145 cameras.

Live traffic video from 148 U.S. cities is available on TrafficLand’s national network of more than 11,000 cameras, which is used by commuters, media, first responders and others through a wide range of services and technology platforms — including a traffic app for iPhone and iPad.
