MEMO TO MR. NASH: Put a bit of Morning Joe in the Today Show. Give it a hard edge. Your team could out- “hard news” CBS This Morning, but with the exception of the first half-hour, I see way too much fluff and stuff. At the very least, the first hour, and the first twenty minutes of the second hour, should be hard news and analysis all the way.
