WJZY Switching Affiliation From CW To Fox

Former CW affiliate WJZY Charlotte, N.C. (DMA 25) will switch affiliation and be known as Fox 46 Carolinas, effective July 1 at 4 a.m., Karen Adams, VP-general manager of WJZY and WMYT, announced today.

In making the announcement, Adams said: “We have literally been counting down the days to this much anticipated affiliate switch. We look forward to serving all of our 22 counties with compelling content and our robust lineup, which includes Fox Network prime programming, NFL on Fox, and Nascar on Fox.”

On April 17, Fox Television Stations completed the purchase of WJZY and WMYT (MNT) from Capitol Broadcasting.
