A Million Little Things‘ endgame is in sight. The ABC drama’s creator, DJ Nash, is crafting the series’ upcoming fifth season as its last. ABC is not commenting, but TVLine was told the decision to bring the show to a creatively satisfying conclusion was made mutually between Nash, the network and ABC Signature/Kapital Entertainment.

The CW on Monday announced that its Grant Gustin-led DC Comics superhero drama from Warner Bros. TV and Greg Berlanti Productions will conclude with a 13-episode final run. The conclusion of one of the network’s most-watched shows will air in 2023 as part of its midseason roster. Production on the final season will begin next month.

The Australian soap opera, which has aired nearly 9,000 episodes, is drawing to a close, disappointing many fans who grew up watching the show.

An NBC spokesperson confirms it has scrapped the “high-stakes” competition series before cameras even began rolling on its inaugural season. No reason was given for Island‘s demise, although speculation is that the series’ budget was to blame. Co-producer Studio Lambert is said to be shopping the series to other outlets.

Full Frontal with Samantha Bee is over at TBS. The cable network has canceled the weekly late-night series after seven seasons. It is the latest major cancelation at the Warner Bros. Discovery network following the merger. Other shows canceled on the network include the second season of Chad and reality series The Big D, which was axed ahead of its premiere.

Marc Cherry’s anthology series Why Women Kill will not get a third installment. The Paramount+ drama was renewed for a third season in December and was firming up its lead cast with big-name actors in negotiations to star when the decision was made with production slated to start soon, sources said.

Tom Swift has swiftly gotten the boot by The CW. The low-rated, Nancy Drew spinoff only launched on May 31. The series, which features a predominantly Black cast, started off as an unconventional backdoor pilot, with only Tian Richards (as Tom) getting an introduction on Nancy Drew last season. The rest of the characters were cast after the project was picked up to series in August. We hear CBS Studios, which is behind Tom Swift, is trying to extend the options on the cast and plans to shop the series elsewhere.

Animated family comedy Duncanville is coming to an end. Fox has canceled the series, which comes from Amy Poehler, The Simpsons veteran Mike Scully and former Simpsons writer-producer Julie Scully, after three seasons. The series is averaging a 0.2 in live+7 numbers with 641,000 viewers and around 1.1 million multiplatform viewers per episode.

The Good Fight, the first scripted original series for the former CBS All Access, is coming to a close. The previously announced sixth season of The Good Wife spinoff will be its last. The final season of the series from creators/showrunners Robert and Michelle King will debut Thursday, Sept. 8, on Paramount+.

The Disney-backed broadcast network has passed on the sequel that featured original cast members Blair Underwood and Corbin Bernsen. Additionally, Jo Koy comedy Josep will also not move forward this season, though sources say the network remains high on the concept and could redevelop the comedy.

Our Kind of People is no longer Fox’s kind of show. The network has also dropped its comedy Pivoting; both shows lasted a single season at the network. Our Kind of People, from Lee Daniels and Karin Gist was one of Fox’s first straight to series orders – skipping the usual pilot season process as the network attempted to pivot away from traditional development methods.

Legacies, the second spinoff to stem from The Vampire Diaries, has been canceled after a four-season run. The series, from creator Julie. Plec, was the last connective tissue to The Vampire Diaries, which at the time the flagship series launched in 2009, was The CW’s most-watched scripted series.

In a somewhat surprising turn of events, CBS has canceled Magnum P.I. after four seasons. As a result, the May 6 Season 4 finale will now serve as a series finale.

The 4400′s superpowered days are over: The CW has cancelled the reboot after just one season. With its freshman run, 4400 averaged 732,000 total viewers and a 0.1 demo rating (with Live+7 DVR playback factored in); in total audience it ranks No. 14 out of the 19 dramas that The CW has aired this TV season.

Kenan Thompson’s comedy Kenan has been canceled after two seasons by NBC. During its second season, Kenan has averaged a 0.4 rating among adults 18-49 and 2.4 million total viewers, according to Nielsen’s “most current” ratings, which include a week’s worth of delayed viewing where available.

CBS has opted not to renew the Chuck Lorre-produced comedy series B Positive for a third season, Deadline has learned. The decision follows the cancellation last night of another Lorre-produced sophomore CBS comedy series, United States Of Al. Both had been heavily on the bubble but, given Lorre’s standing as the network’s top comedy producer of the last two decades, there was an expectation that at least one of the two shows may make the cut for next season.

NBC has canceled the heist drama, which stars Morena Baccarin as criminal mastermind, after one season. The series comes from Nick Wootton, Jake Coburn, Justin Lin and Julie Plec. Universal TV is the studio.

Chuck Lorre’s sophomore comedy United States of Al has been canceled. The comedy, which hailed from The Big Bang Theory alums Lorre, Dave Goetsch and Maria Ferrari hailed from Warner Bros. Television, where prolific writer-creator Lorre has been based with an overall deal.

The ABC dramas Queens and Promised Land have both been canceled after one season at ABC. Queens concluded its season on the broadcaster back in February. After initially debuting on ABC, Promised Land was moved to Hulu exclusively after five episodes.

While The CW is known for giving its longer-running series a proper goodbye, this season of Legends ended on a cliffhanger. Sources, however, pointed out that the characters can easily populate other series in the DC Arrowverse so you may see one or two of them in other shows.
