Comedy Legend Robin Williams Dies At 63

Legendary actor and comedian Robin Williams died on Monday. He was 63. Williams, who most recently starred in the CBS comedy The Crazy Ones, had recently entered rehab in July, though it was reported at the time that he had entered rehab in order to maintain his long-term sobriety. The sheriff’s office said the preliminary investigation shows the cause of death to be a suicide due to asphyxia.

Longtime KHQ Exec J. Birney Blair Dies At 92

The longtime president and general manager of NBC affiliate KHQ Spokane, Wash., J. Birney Blair, died in his Spokane home on Saturday. He was 92. He started working at KHQ-AM as a reporter and became the first sales manager of the TV station in 1952. He became president-GM in 1970 and held that post until his retirement in 1988.
