This year’s challenge will fund teams to build a working prototype that expands and enhances remote television and radio operations and present it at next year’s NAB Show.
The NAB initiative will fund teams to build a working prototype and present at the 2020 NAB Show. Applicants must submit their proposal by Oct. 18.
Through its Pilot program, the NAB says it will award $20,000 to the person or persons who come up with the best business idea for how radio and TV broadcasters “can engage their communities with next generation content on any device, whether big, small or moving?” Runners up get $15,000 and $10,000.
