WWBT, Gray’s NBC affiliate in Richmond, Virginia, has openings for an Assistant Chief Engineer, an IT Engineer and an IT Administrator.

Assistant Chief Engineer

WWBT seeks full-time Assistant Chief Engineer.

Responsibilities include supervising broadcast engineering/IT staff, project management, and installation, repair and maintenance of all television station equipment.

Minimum 4 years experience in broadcast engineering or related field and proficiency with Windows OS, applications, and networking required.

Advanced electronics education or military electronics training a plus.

Must be a team player with excellent communication and people skills.

IT Engineer

WWBT seeks full-time IT Engineer.

IT Engineer will provide hardware and software support for all departments on multiple computer and networking platforms using a wide variety of business and broadcasting software.

End-user technical support skills are essential.

Duties include technical support requests, troubleshooting and maintaining servers, workstations, networks and assistance in maintaining all broadcast equipment in an IT environment.

Expertise with installation, support and maintenance of current OS platforms, IP networking technologies is a must.

IT Administrator

WWBT seeks full time IT Administrator to install, configure, administer, and support computer hardware, software, and Windows LANs.

MCSE preferred, 4 years extensive hands-on Active Directory experience required.

Strong end-user support skills and ability to work as a team in fast-paced, demanding environment.

VMWare ESX, TV Broadcast, or Cisco experience a plus.
