Dean Ditmer Named GM Of KPNX Phoenix
Tegna today appointed Dean Ditmer president and general manager of NBC affiliate KPNX Phoenix (DMA 12). Ditmer previously served as director of sales at Tegna’s KUSA Denver.
Ditmer led the sales team at KUSA since 2012. Prior to joining Tegna and KUSA, Ditmer was general manager of WKEF-WRGT Dayton, Ohio.
He has also directed sales at WCCO Minneapolis and worked in the sales departments of KPIX San Francisco; WNCN Raleigh, N.C.; and WKEF and WHIO, both Dayton, Ohio
While at WKEF, Ditmer was also an Emmy-nominated sportscaster.
Ditmer graduated from Bowling Green University with a Bachelor of Arts in communication in radio-TV-film.
