Entertainment Studios has promoted Eric Peterkofsky to executive vice president of talent and public relations, effective immediately. Peterkofsky has been with Byron Allen’s Entertainment Studios since 2007, as both a talent executive and a public relations coordinator.
In his new position, Peterkofsky will continue to oversee talent relations for all ES comedy programming for broadcast television syndication, and for the ES 24/7 HD cable network, COMEDY.TV.
Peterkofsky will also continue to manage public relations and corporate communications for all ES divisions: broadcast television syndication, all seven cable television networks, and the recently-acquired feature film distribution company, Freestyle Releasing.
Prior to his nine-year tenure at Entertainment Studios, Peterkofsky was also a television writer and producer on several game shows including Fox’s Greed and NBC’s Weakest Link. His first writing position was as a staff writer on the classic CBS sitcom Murphy Brown.
“Eric is a dedicated and versatile executive,” said Byron Allen, founder, chairman and CEO of Entertainment Studios. “Eric’s extensive relationships with talent, together with his public relations experience, will help us to continue growing our global media company on all platforms — broadcast television, cable networks, feature films, and digital — for years to come.”
